Some Issues on Urbanization and Commercial Development

摘要:城市化已成为商业发展的新动力。商业在我国国民经济发展中的地位需要重新认识。商业资本的再振兴对扩大内需战略的实施至关重要,商业的繁荣是提高城市资源价值的根本措施之一,商业的发达与成熟已经成为现代化的基本标志,现代商业的发展是新经济的重要体现。我国城市商业发展面临新挑战。商业经济必须在“扩大内需”的战略实施中承担起重要职能。

Abstract: Urbanization has become a new trend in commercial development and the status of commerce in the national economic development should be re-recognized. It is crucial to rejuvenate the commercial capital in expanding domestic demand while commercial boom is one of the essential measures to upgrade the value of city resource. Just as the developed and matured commerce has become a fundamental symbol of modernization, the development of modern commerce significantly mirrors the new economy. Given the new challenges in the development of urban commerce in our country, commercial economy must play an important role in carrying out the strategy of expanding domestic demand.

15  城市的发展与商业的作用——以日本东京为例

Urban Development and the Role of Commercial Functions: The Case of Tokyo

摘要:以日本东京为例,从宏观和微观两个角度来观察城市和商业的发展。从宏观视点,东京正在进行城市改造,主要基于要发展成亚洲商业心的构想,从微观视点,通过充实以零售业为中心的软件设施来促进城市的再开发。

Abstract: The article takes Tokyo as an example, expatiating on the urban and commercial development from macro and micro perspectives. Macroscopically, with the concept of developing towards the commercial center of Asia, Tokyo is undergoing city reconstruction. Microcosmically, Tokyo is exerting itself on facilitating the re- exploitation of the city by means of enriching its software facilities with retail as a core.

Kansai’s Economic Circle and Osaka’s Commerce

摘要:商业不是在城市的发展过程中派生出来的附属品,而是有计划发展城市的一个必要手段,不论从理论上来说,还是从政策上来讲,商业的发展都是一个重要的课题。通过分析大阪的商业与关西经济圈之间的关系阐明这一课题。

Abstract: Commerce is not an appendage derives from the course of urban development, but an essential means to the planned development of cities. Therefore, commercial development has always been an important subject theoretically and politically. The author analyzes the relationship between Osaka’s commerce and Kansai’s economic circle in the article.

Metropolitan Economic Circle and Commercial Development

摘要:商业是区域特征突出的产业。都市圈商业是开放和双赢的区域联合,是城市间优势商业的相互融合,为国内优势商业企业扩张提供了平台。跨城市消费已成为都市圈消费的重要方式。南京都市圈是区域内城市发展的内在要求,南京都市圈商业的特点是:中心城市强大的吸引力,优势企业强大的辐射力,中等城市对中心城市商业的吸纳性增强,并具有跨越式发展的后发优势。都市经济圈商业发展中的政府作用主要是:加强协调共建长江商贸走廊,建立良好的区域流通市场秩序,制定规划加快城市商业中心区建设,支持国内外商业企业的跨区域发展。

Abstract: Commerce is an industry with distinguished regional characteristics. Metropolitan circle commerce is a regional combination of opening up and win-win strategy, realizing the integration of the preponderant commerce among the cities and providing a platform for the expansion of domestic advantageous commercial enterprises. The cross-city consumption has become an important approach to consuming in metropolitan circles. The metropolitan circle in Nanjing, emerging out of the internal demand of urban development in the region, is characterized with powerful attraction of central cities, strong radiation of advantageous enterprises, increasing acceptance by medium-sized cities of the central ones and the future advantages of spanning development. Government roles in the development include strengthening, coordinating and building jointly the commercial and trade aisle of Yangtze River, establishing a sound market system of regional circulation, formulating a program to accelerate the construction of central business districts and supporting the trans-regional development of both domestic and foreign commercial enterprises.

34  长江三角洲企业跨区域发展趋势

Trans-regional Development Trend of Commercial Enterprises in Yangtze Delta

摘要:长三角正以它独特的区位和资源优势形成跨区域的大市场。江浙沪三省商业发展各有特色,中外商业企业的拚杀各显神通。但本地商业企业由于受区域影响较大,物流发展不均衡及对“当地化”的重视不够,在与国外商业企业的竞争中处于弱势。本地商业企业要做大做强,需要把握区域竞争的特点,实践商业运营和商业房产开发专业化经营模式,走跨区域品牌经营和专业化第三方物流的道路,并逐步建立当地化运作的机制。

Abstract: There forms a huge market in Yangtze Delta with its unique advantages in location and resource. Jangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai develop their commerce with each characteristic, where domestic and foreign commercial enterprises compete actively with their own strong points. However, the local commercial enterprises have failed in competing with those foreign ones, suffered from the regional impact. What’s more, the logistics there developed unbalancedly and the enterprisers attached less importance on the ‘localization’. Only by means of perceiving the characteristics of regional competition, conducting the specialized operation mode in commercial operation and commercial real estate development, practicing trans-regional brands management and specialized the 3rd part logistics, setting localized operation system step by step, can the local commercial enterprises enlarge and promote themselves.

Modern Commercial Development and the Economy of Yangtze Delta

摘要:分析了现代商业的若干鲜明特征,提出:现代商业是经济全球化的必然趋势,是中国现代化进程的重要组成部分,有着很大的发展空间。长江三角洲地区是中国现代商业发展的先行区,具有内在需求、内在动力和各方面的有利基础。上海应该在长江三角洲的现代商业发展中发挥积极作用。

Abstract: Modern commerce has several distinguished characteristics. The author indicates that modern commerce, being the trend of economic globalization and an integral part of China’s modernization process, is endowed with huge development space. Thanks to its advantageous foundations in various aspects in addition to internal demand and driving force, the Yangtze Delta region has become the pioneer of China’s modern commercial development. Therefore, Shanghai should play a positive role in the development of modern commerce in Yangtze Delta.

Abstract: Since logistics has brought to people’s attention increasingly, there invokes some misunderstanding upon it that logistics is the third source of profit, which has negative impact on the transformation in China from traditional storage and transport industry to modern logistics trade. The article sets out the value of logistics by discussing how to saving the cost on it.

Building an IT network will settle it effectively. In respect of building a complete IT network frame for chain department stores, the author sets forth the administrative levels that chain department stores should establish and the specific functions of different systems.

Abstract: Thanks to the prosperity of tourism and the reform of mineral industry, South Africa has realized the management mode of combining specialized stores with natural resources by encouraging the small business owners to develop individualized specialized stores and the transnational enterprises to develop specialized chain stores. It has evoked a hot topic of ‘exploitation and resources, tourism and commerce’.
